Bastille Day in Paris

Last summer, 2012, my family and I went to Paris. We planned it so we were there for the big Bastille Day celebration. For those of you who are not familiar with Bastille Day, it's the equivalent of Independence Day in the United States.

Here's a link to my post with pictures of the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower (which were amazing) and a video. One of the fun parts was that each year the fireworks has a theme and last summer's was Disco - thus the biggest disco ball I've ever seen hanging between the first and second levels of the Eiffel Tower!

The fireworks were really fantastic and 1000 of people enjoying retro disco was fun!
